Pet Permanent Change of Station (PCS) Checklist

General Requirements:

Check base policy regarding number of pets, microchip policy, etc.

Check with the airline(s) policy regarding limits on number of pets, flying pets during hot/cold weather etc.. Check restrictions regarding dangerous breeds.

Additional information on importation of pets into foreign countries can be obtained by contacting the consulate of the respective country. A list of consulates can be found at http://www.state.gov/s/cpr/rls/
